Hippkids is proud to be supporting Ohio House Bill 243, also known as Madeline's law in support of Ohio's hearing impaired children. We've been to D.C. and now we are asking our local legislators to help ensure that that Ohio children have equal access to hearing devices no matter their personal circumstances. Early literacy begins with early access to hearing! This legislation is so important... Let Ohio Hear! Please follow Let Ohio Hear -->>

Thank you Representative David McKinley, for supporting ASHA and its many important initiatives. Representative McKinley, a cochlear implant recipient advocates for many hearing health issues, especially in our veteran poplulation.
WE HAVE NEW LEGISLATION INTRODUCED! ALLY'S ACT, H.R., 5485 would ensure that private insurance companies provide coverage for osseointegrated hearing devices (“OIDs”), including Bone Anchored Hearing Aids (“BAHA”) and Cochlear Implants (“CIs”)! Thank you to Congressman Joe Neguse (D-CO), Congressman David McKinley (R-WV, pictured below) and Congressman Mike Thompson (D-CA) for bringing this issue to the Federal level!
